Microbes & Immunity (MI) is Officially Indexed in CAB Abstracts and Global Health Databases
*Date: 15 June 2026*
We are pleased to announce that **Microbes & Immunity (MI)** has been formally accepted for inclusion in the **CAB Abstracts** and **Global Health** databases, two authoritative abstract databases hosted by CAB International (CABI).
Following a comprehensive evaluation by the CABI review team, the scope and quality of MI were confirmed to align with the indexing criteria of both databases. Indexing coverage will commence with **Volume 2, Issue 1 (2025)**, and all eligible articles published in MI from this issue onward will be systematically selected, abstracted, and included in the databases. The journal’s metadata is fully accessible on our official website, enabling CABI to conduct ongoing indexing without requiring additional materials from the editorial office.

## About CAB Abstracts and Global Health
CAB International (CABI) is a non-profit international treaty organization with over a century of experience in organizing and disseminating scientific literature in the applied life sciences. Its two core databases serve as vital resources for researchers worldwide:
- **CAB Abstracts**: Covers high-quality literature across agriculture, crop science, natural resources, animal science, and human applied sciences, widely used by academic institutions, government agencies, and commercial organizations globally.
- **Global Health**: Focuses on public health, food science, nutrition, and related interdisciplinary fields, supporting global epidemic research, health governance, and preventive medicine initiatives.

## Significance for Authors and Readers
Inclusion in these databases significantly enhances the **global visibility, discoverability, and academic impact** of all MI publications. Researchers worldwide, including those from academic institutions, government agencies, and international organizations, will be able to easily retrieve and access MI articles through the CABI Digital Library platform. This increased accessibility will facilitate broader dissemination of research findings and boost citation potential for authors.
