The 33rd Live Lecture of JCBP: Management Techniques for Psychocardiological Diseases

The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics will hold this live lecture titled "Management Techniques for Psychocardiological Diseases" on Tencent Meeting platform at 20:00 on October 24, 2025 (GMT+08:00).

With the evolution of medical models, we have come to recognize more clearly that human health is not merely the simple sum of organs. Particularly in the field of cardiovascular medicine, a beating heart also carries a person's joys, sorrows, and emotions. What we face is no longer just narrowed blood vessels and abnormal electrocardiograms, but also the "heart" that is anxious, fearful, and confused due to illness.

"Psycho-cardiology" is an inevitable response to the call of this era. It breaks down disciplinary barriers, bridges the gap between body and mind, and represents the core direction of future medical development—a profound shift from "treating diseases" to "treating people."

The management of psycho-cardiological diseases is a battle concerning the "whole person." It requires us to transcend traditional departmental barriers and employ comprehensive management techniques that are "based on medical care, centered on lifestyle, guided by psychology, and supported by society," ultimately achieving the ultimate goal of not only prolonging patients' lives but also enhancing their quality of life.

We are honored to have invited Professor Hui Liu, the former Vice President of Anyang Regional Hospital in Henan Province, as the keynote speaker, and Professor Jie Zhang, the Vice President of Shanxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, as the moderator for this conference. We sincerely welcome all scholars to actively participate in this academic live lecture.
