The 2nd Editorial Board Meeting of Advanced Neurology was successfully held online via Zoom on August 28, 2025, bringing together 29 Editorial Board Members from 10 countries. Chaired by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Anthony George Rudd, this meeting served as an important platform to review the journal’s latest progress and discuss strategies for future development.

• Pursuing PubMed Central indexing in 2026, with long-term goals of Web of Science indexing

Key Suggestions from Editorial Board Members

Board members provided valuable recommendations to strengthen the journal’s impact and operations:

• Inviting Authors: Proactive invitations to researchers through official journal emails, especially targeting conference presenters.

• Accelerating Review Process: Incentives such as APC waivers or discounts for timely reviews, alongside “Top 10 Reviewers” recognition.

• Enhancing Visibility: Establishing social media accounts, providing EBMs with e-promotional materials, and boosting email updates to increase downloads.

• Research Integrity and AI Fraud Detection: Collaboration with experts to strengthen detection and safeguard journal credibility.

• Recognition & Engagement: Certificates for outstanding reviewers, promotion at key conferences, and stronger encouragement of EBM contributions.
