Special Issue Information

Additive manufacturing is becoming increasingly popular in the manufacturing sector and has been adopted by an expanding number of industries. Moreover, as more innovative additive manufacturing processes are developed to meet the intricate demands of customers and to broaden the range of technique applications, there is a noticeable gap in research. Specifically, there is a significant lack of studies focusing on the optimisation of these novel additive manufacturing processes and the investigation into the properties of the components produced.

This special issue, titled "Optimisation of the Processes and the Parts Associated with the Recently Developed Additive Manufacturing Techniques" will be particularity focused on the optimisation of newly developed additive manufacturing processes, as well as the investigation of the properties of the built components. We welcome both original research and review articles in this context.
