This Special Issue of the International Journal of Bioprinting focuses on emerging bioprinting strategies for osteochondral, cartilage, and meniscal regeneration. It aims to showcase cutting-edge advances in multi-material bioprinting, gradient and zonal tissue constructs, biomimetic scaffolds, functional bioinks, and cell-laden constructs designed to recapitulate complex joint microenvironments. We welcome original research, reviews, and perspectives spanning fundamental biology, materials design, engineering innovation, and preclinical/clinical translation. Topics of interest include in vitro and in vivo models, integration of mechanical and biochemical cues, imaging- and computation-guided design, and strategies to enhance maturation, vascularization, and long-term function of engineered tissues. By bringing together interdisciplinary contributions, this Special Issue seeks to accelerate the development of clinically relevant solutions for degenerative and traumatic joint diseases.
